almost a circle

Helooooo greetings from London!

Am finally in London where city is no longer 30 mins away from the place I study, where there are no curfews, where I can get good food.....where I miss Concord too.

I miss Concord in so many ways, most of it will probably be the comfort and security of having your close friends around you and where everything is taken care of. Now, having to juggle laundry, food, studies and friends, all seem to be a too big package.

Welcome to the LSE, Istee. Where everyone is a smarty pants. Pant.

Lectures will start tomorrow and I am unfortunately under a spell of illnesses..Haha not as serious as it sounds, but undeniably annoying. Am down with cough, fever, flu, the works. Sigh, why do I always fall sick at the start?

So far, being here for a week, I definitely cannot complain about my room..ofcourse nothing can beat Concord, but I consider my room to be the most luxurious among other halls, and ofcourse, the most expensive. Lucky for me, Rin and Lay Wei (2 other Concord friends) are just like, 3 steps away from my door?Haha!

Though I've only been here for a week, it has been quite hectic settling in. Hopefully I'm managing my time right, juggling everything else. Have met tons of people, but many of which I can no longer remember their names or faces. LSE is so diversed, you can find almost anyone from any part of the world there!

Oh and thinking about my birthday, I had dinner with the Concord bunch at an Italian restaurant called Tartufo Trattoria. Just a simple outing, but it reminded me so much of how much I miss them :( Oh and, Kart, Siang Loong, Rin and Lav, got me Jay Chou's Incomparable Concert 2004 Taipei, which was...indescribably amazing!!!! It reminds me of the concert I went to in 2005, seeing him perform there, and how naive I was to not bring a camera because of security :( . And speaking of him, Jay Chou's new album will be out on the 2nd of November, so do look out for another spectacular compilation from him!

Anyway, need to sleep. Wish the best for myself this coming week :)
